I have searched the forum for related topics.Jottacloud used to support basic authentication using user_id and password. This was discontinued without warning yesterday. The SFTP backend, for one example, supports username and password, Log-in credentials, save in session, and RSA public key. This was confirmed by Jottacloud staff in a tweet: Steps to reproduce It is no longer possible to connect to Jottacloud with Duplicati, it always returns a 401 error. Create a backup with Jottacloud as the backend.Note: rclone supports using Jottacloud's "personal login token", which is used by their command line app. It appears that the only way to continue supporting Jottacloud is to use the token.
On the plus side, with the token it is possible to enable 2FA on your Jottacloud account, which was previously incompatible with Duplicati.
I don't really do Go language or C#, or Python, but the linked code from rclone looks like Jottacloud "legacy" plan is going away, whereas their "standard" plan is their new way. Someone who's tried it can say if user's web flow goes like An Illustrated Guide to OAuth and OpenID Connect. At a code level, the fact that they pass jottacli as the client ID, and don't bother passing the client secret (because secrets are hard to keep with an installed program) is OAuth-flavored too. Name Value JOTTATOKEN: Your Personal login token. Please obtain it from Jottacloud dashboard Settings -> Security. How we get along with OAuth and oauth-handler code shows Duplicati takes a different approach, using a cloud-resident OAuth confidential client, but (just like rclone), it might be able to do the needed OAuth. I suspect client type is a small factor in its flow. shows how the current Duplicati OAuth services were set up. There's a fairly standard way in the C# code (I think) to interface with the Duplicati OAuth handler to serve as a Jottacloud model. If this can be pulled off, Jottacloud backend would have AuthID which it gives to the OAuth handler which handles token refresh. Please let me know if I can provide any more details, and thank you for any help.Expired_access_token error from Dropbox short-lived access tokens #4667 describes how Dropbox recently took the refresh token path (breaking Duplicati) instead of a long-lived access token. Though I may be mistaken, the error in the log file I think is presenting the issue is: d3dcompiler:compile_shader HLSL shader parsing failed. As a result a large file like a mail database that is big and changes daily is constantly being fully uploaded again and again. When it syncs, it re-sends the entire file not just the changed parts. Folders inside the sync folder can be shared with your friends and colleagues. Synchronization is instant and continuous. A special folder called the Sync folder mirrors the content both TO AND FROM Jottacloud. It only seems to work with POL wine version set to "system." Jottacloud is good for small files, or files that dont change much but is terrible for larger size files that change periodically. The Jottacloud desktop app lets you synchronize files between all your computers and Jottacloud.
I've tried installing the d3dcompiler_43 in "install components" in POL and I also tried switching wine version to 5.0rc-2 and 3.15, but the software crashes before I can get to the blacked out login screen in the setup wizard. Using Manjaro Gnome, Play on Linux 4.3.4, wine version is set to system. I hope someone can point me in the right direction to sort this out.
Using Play on Linux, I can get Jottacloud windows app installed and to the sign-in portion of the setup wizard, but on that screen the app goes dark and I can't see the fields and buttons to sign in. Graylog Extended Log Format (GELF) implementation in Java for all major logging frameworks: log4j, log4j2,, logback, JBossAS7 and WildFly 8-10. Jottacloud has 14 repositories available. From what I can understand, 2 way sync won't work with the command line tool or with Rclone. Jottacloud has 14 repositories available. I'm trying to use the windows app for the cloud service Jottacloud because as far as I can tell, it's the only way to get 2 way sync with my Jottacloud service.
